Woot woot update time

I'm in my final year of uni now, finally, and it's a bit scary since it's the most important year of all three. Not to mention the big Final Year Project I will have to do (for those of you who know something about computer science, it's about Genetic Algorithms for the Travelling Salesman problem. go figure ).

Anyway.

I've become obsessed with Kirk/Spock (from the Original Series, mind you) *fangirlish giggle* Livejournal is murder for me in terms of keeping me up late. I'm also working with a very good composer who's making wonderful piano melodies for some of my songs, so they should be on myspace once we get the demos recorded.

Incidentally, one of my recent lyrics on here ([link]) was written about the relationship between Kirk and Spock *giggle*

I'm going to pour some more hot water into my tea and then I'm off to bed.

Hi there and welcome to my lyrics account

Long story short:

I'm a lyricist, have been writing for several years now and have many songs that have all the potential of becoming hits - all they're missing is music. Good music.

To make it easier to imagine what kind of music I'm after, think mostly (in no particular order): Avril Lavigne, Evanescence, Lacuna Coil, Christina Aguilera, Lafee (german singer), Bon Jovi, Nickelback, Linkin Park (before Minutes to Midnight), Veronicas (australian duo), Tokio Hotel (german band), Red Hot Chilli Peppers. This list is by no means exhaustive, and is just a reference.

I'm looking for anyone who can create music - composers, songwriters, people who play the piano or guitar... you get the idea.

Most of my songs were written for something along the lines of pop-rock, but (as you can see from the above list) I have a wide range and anything from heavy metal to pop music is possible.

I'm also open for general collaborations.
